A charity event for Pamir Kyrgyz in the Osh region
Recently, a charity event took place in the Osh region aimed at supporting the Pamir Kyrgyz, ethnic Kyrgyz who have returned to their historical homeland from Afghanistan and now live in the high mountains.

According to information from the event organizers, on January 8 and 9, humanitarian aid was delivered to the settlements of Sary-Tash, Sary-Mogol, and Taldy-Suu, located in the Pamir-Alai rural district of the Alay region, as well as to the village of Burgan-Suu in the Chon-Alai district. This was made possible thanks to the initiative of Sultanali Azhy Gapurov, the acting representative of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan in the Osh region, and the support of the international fund "Emirat".

As part of the event, residents were provided with 100 tons of coal, as well as 5 tons of food products. In addition, they received heaters, blankets, bedding, and winter clothing for children.

Special attention was given to a single mother from the village of Sary-Mogol, who was gifted a cow.

Representatives of the international fund "Emirat" also reported that they aim to continue assisting families in difficult life situations, including exploring the possibility of building housing for those living in emergency conditions or who do not have their own homes.
