Venezuelan authorities reported 100 dead due to a U.S. attack. Maduro and his wife were injured.

As a result of the attack, as reported by Cabello, young people unrelated to the conflict were killed. "It was a treacherous attack. We know of 100 victims," he noted.

Nicolas Maduro, the President of Venezuela, sustained a leg injury during the operation by American special forces, and his wife, Cilia Flores, was injured in the head area.

According to information presented by The Washington Post, American authorities claim that the death toll in Caracas is around 75 people, including civilians and members of Venezuelan and Cuban security forces. There are also reports of injuries among American military personnel.

Colombian sources reported 32 fatalities in the clash with American forces, while Havana claims that the actions were carried out at the request of Venezuela.

CNN also reported on the injuries of the president and his wife. At a court hearing in New York on January 5, Flores was seen with bandages on her head, while Maduro had difficulty standing and squatting. Flores's lawyer stated that she might have a serious bruise or a broken rib.

Maduro and Flores were captured during a U.S. operation codenamed "Absolute Resolve," which took place on the night of January 3 and lasted 2 hours and 20 minutes. They are accused of "narcoterrorism," drug trafficking, and illegal possession of weapons. Venezuelan authorities have classified the incident as military aggression.
