According to information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, from March 18 to 23, there is a possibility of avalanches in mountainous areas and on certain roads, as well as snow drifts, ice buildup, and slippery conditions.
The most dangerous sections are located on the following routes:
- Bishkek — Osh (section from the 198th to the 260th kilometer, Ala-Bel pass, Chychkan gorge);
- Myza-Ake — Kara-Kuldja — Alaykuu (from the 55th to the 115th kilometer);
- Bishkek — Naryn — Torugart (292-305 kilometers, Dolon pass);
- Balakchi — Kazarman — Jalal-Abad (sections 201-205, 260-290, and 326-349 kilometers, Kok-Art pass);
- Karakoil — Enilchek (45-90 kilometers, Chon-Ashuu pass).
Drivers are strongly advised to exercise increased caution when passing through avalanche-prone areas and to maintain a safe distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles.
Services warn of possible complications on the roads and recommend taking weather conditions into account when planning trips.
