According to the investigation, T.R.Z., a senior investigator of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Talas District Internal Affairs Department, systematically demanded money from a local resident. Otherwise, he threatened him with criminal consequences.
The suspect was detained on February 21, when the GKNB, together with the Internal Investigations Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, caught him with part of a bribe amounting to 100,000 soms.
The suspect has been placed in a temporary detention facility. As part of the ongoing investigation, efforts continue to identify other possible accomplices of the crime.
