After consideration, the court granted the request and imposed a preventive measure in the form of detention until April 10, 2025, for all five suspects.
It is worth noting that 75 citizens appealed to President Japarov with a request to organize early elections. According to law enforcement, some aspects of this appeal caused a strong public resonance and contributed to the "escalation of the socio-political situation." In this regard, a criminal case was initiated under part 1 of Article 278 "Mass Riots" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic. Additionally, on February 11, the 75 signatories of the appeal were summoned for questioning by the investigative authorities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
