The Parliament of Kyrgyzstan adopted a law on reducing the number of auditors in the Accounts Chamber.
Deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh reviewed and adopted the draft constitutional law "On Amendments to the Constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic 'On the Accounts Chamber of the Kyrgyz Republic'" in the second and third readings.
The initiator of this draft law was the President of Kyrgyzstan.
Information about the draft law was presented by the Chairman of the Committee on Finance, Budget, Entrepreneurship, and Competition Development of the Jogorku Kenesh, Altynbek Kudayberdiev.
The draft law was developed to improve the legal regulation of the activities of the Accounts Chamber and proposes reducing the number of auditors from nine to three, establishing a new order whereby the Accounts Chamber will consist of three auditors, among whom a chairman will be appointed, as well as forming the apparatus of the Accounts Chamber and its territorial subdivisions.
The Jogorku Kenesh also adopted the draft law "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic (to the laws 'On Investments in the Kyrgyz Republic', 'On Arbitration Courts in the Kyrgyz Republic')" in the third reading and the draft law "On Amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic 'On the Exchange of Credit Information'" in the second reading.
