The Housing Committee adopted the protocol on amendments to the EAEU Agreement in the third reading.

- At the meeting of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security, and Migration, an assessment and approval of the bill "On the Ratification of the Protocol Amending the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union, signed on July 28, 2025, in Moscow, with an effective date of May 29, 2014" took place.

The initiator of this bill was the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The amendments contained in the Protocol aim to address issues identified in the course of law enforcement practice; clarify the terms used in the Treaty on the Union; as well as empower the Eurasian Economic Commission to approve the methodology for classifying obstacles in the internal market of the EAEU and recognizing barriers and restrictions as eliminated.
