The proposed amendments aim to address the shortcomings identified in the application of the legislation; clarify the terms used in the Treaty on the Union; as well as empower the Eurasian Economic Commission to approve the methodology for qualifying obstacles in the internal market of the Eurasian Economic Union and recognizing barriers and restrictions as eliminated.
The Committee approved the draft law, which will now be forwarded for further consideration at the plenary session of the Jogorku Kenesh.
