The proposed amendments are aimed at addressing the identified shortcomings in law enforcement practices, clarifying the terms used in the Treaty on the Union, as well as empowering the Eurasian Economic Commission to approve the methodology for assessing obstacles in the internal market of the Eurasian Economic Union and to determine barriers and restrictions as eliminated.
