Production of Products. How Much Kyrgyzstan Plans to Invest in Development

Last year, 63 new facilities were put into operation in the agro-industrial sector of Kyrgyzstan. Among them are trade and logistics centers, as well as enterprises for the processing of various agricultural products, including grains, vegetables, fruits, meat, milk, and wool. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry.

These initiatives created 2,707 new jobs and significantly strengthened the production capabilities of the country. According to the ministry, the share of the food industry in the total production volume amounted to 17.4 percent by the end of November 2025.

Future Plans and Targets


As part of the state development program until 2030, the construction of 385 processing enterprises is planned. This will increase the level of agricultural product processing to 25 percent. It is expected that the total investment in this sector will exceed 20.96 billion soms.

In 2026, the launch of 75 new factories is planned, for which 9.1 billion soms will be allocated for construction and equipment.
