Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic: 63 new enterprises put into operation by the end of 2025



In 2025, 63 new facilities were put into operation in the agro-industrial complex of the Kyrgyz Republic, including enterprises for processing agricultural products and developing trade and logistics infrastructure. Among them are logistics centers, as well as enterprises engaged in the processing of grain, berries, vegetables, as well as the production of milk, meat, fish, wool, and vegetable oil, reports the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Kyrgyz Republic.

These initiatives contributed to the creation of 2,707 new jobs, which, in turn, supported regional development, increased employment levels, and strengthened the production potential of the country's agro-industrial sector. According to the results for January-November 2025, the share of food industry enterprises in the total industrial output was 17.4%.

According to preliminary data, in the 11 months of 2025, agro-industrial enterprises produced food products worth 94.2 billion soms at current prices, with a physical volume index of 127.8%.

As part of the Development Program of the Kyrgyz Republic until 2030 and in accordance with the goals of state policy, it is planned to put into operation 385 processing enterprises for agricultural products, which will allow increasing the processing level to 25%. The total volume of investments in this direction will amount to 20.96 billion soms.

For 2026, the opening of 75 new agricultural processing enterprises is planned, with an expected investment volume of 9.1 billion soms. The Ministry will continue its comprehensive work to achieve the established target indicators.
