The budget of the organizing committee for the Nomad Games - 2026 has been announced

In Kyrgyzstan, 336 million soms have been allocated for the organization of the World Nomad Games - 2026. As reported by Kazybek Moldazhiyev, head of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, this amount is intended solely for organizing events, excluding sponsorship funds.

Additionally, he noted that the prize fund for the competitions will amount to 49 million soms. "In particular, 5 million will be allocated for the prize fund for kok-boru, as it is a team discipline. The prize fund for horse racing will be at least 1 million," he added.

The opening ceremony of the Games-2026 is scheduled for August 31 in Bishkek. The following day, September 1, participants will be transported to Issyk-Kul, and sports competitions will begin on September 2.

As part of the games, participants will compete in 43 different sports, including national games, horse racing, equestrian competitions, traditional wrestling, intellectual games, archery, as well as national hunting with falcons and dogs.
