500 million soms allocated for the organization of the VI World Nomad Games

As part of the preparations for the VI World Nomad Games, the Minister of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic shared financial plans, according to which 500 million soms will be allocated for the organization of the event. The main activities will take place in the Issyk-Kul region, where the construction of an ethnovillage is planned, as well as at the racetrack in Cholpon-Ata, where equestrian competitions will be held. In addition, the program includes the Center for Nomadic Civilization, located in the village of Ornok, as well as the cultural complex "Rukh Ordo".

The opening and closing ceremonies of the VI World Nomad Games are scheduled for the period from September 1 to 6 in Bishkek, at the site of the new "Bishkek-Arena" stadium. In 2026, the Games will take place simultaneously at several key venues both in the capital and in the Issyk-Kul region.
