336 million soms allocated from the budget for the VI World Nomad Games

The state budget has allocated 336 million soms for the VI World Nomad Games. This was announced by Kazybek Moldazhiyev, the director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports.

The opening ceremony is scheduled for August 31 at the "Bishkek Arena" stadium and will take place as part of the anniversary summit of the SCO.

Starting from September 1, athletes will head to Cholpon-Ata, where events will begin on September 2 and conclude on September 6. The main venues include the racetrack, the Gazprom complex, the "Rukh Ordo" cultural center named after Ch. Aitmatov, and the Kychyn Gorge.

Moldazhiyev specified that sports such as kok-boru and kokpar will be featured in these games, in accordance with a political decision.

It is expected that more than 3,000 athletes from over 100 countries will participate in the competitions.
