The program of the VI World Nomad Games was presented in Bishkek

Some competitions will be included in the Games program for the first time


A presentation of the sports program for the VI World Nomad Games, scheduled for 2026 in Cholpon-Ata, took place in Bishkek.

The organization of this event is carried out by the State Agency for Youth Affairs, Physical Culture, and Sports.

The director of the agency, Kazybek Moldazhiyev, stated that "the opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games will take place on August 31 at the 'Bishkek Arena' stadium, and the main part of the events will start on September 2. Competitions in 43 different sports, both traditional and national, are planned within the framework of the Games. Athletes from more than 100 countries are expected to participate, which will set a new record. In the first Nomad Games, 19 countries were represented, and we are witnessing an expansion of the geography of participants."

At these Games, special competitions titled "Great Player of Kok-Boru" and "Great Horse of Kok-Boru" will be held for the first time.
