
Today, the committee on judicial and legal issues, law enforcement, combating crime, and countering corruption of the Jogorku Kenesh reviewed the bill "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Kyrgyz Republic" in the second reading.
Committee Chairman Suyunbek Omurzakov presented information about the bill. He noted that the main goal of the document is to reduce the level of begging, diminish its negative impact on public order, and enhance road safety by eliminating begging on the roadway. The bill is also aimed at protecting vulnerable categories of citizens from exploitation.
Deputies approved the bill in the second reading without further discussions.
