At a meeting of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan, deputies discussed the election of the chairman of the Committee responsible for judicial and legal issues, law enforcement, as well as combating crime and corruption.
The candidacy of Suyunbek Omurzakov was proposed by the deputy group "Adilet Kyrgyzstan" for the role of committee chairman.
As a result of the voting, Suyunbek Omurzakov was elected to this position.
A decision was also made to appoint the deputy chairman of the committee, who became deputy Jylgyz Kurmanalieva.
It is worth noting that earlier Bolotbek Borbiev resigned from the position of committee chairman at his own request.
The Jogorku Kenesh adopted the corresponding resolutions.
