The Ministry of Culture intends to optimize the film industry. This was announced at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh in the areas of science, education, innovative development, information technology, culture, sports, and youth affairs by Deputy Minister of Culture Marat Tagaev.

The Deputy Minister noted that several organizations operate within the structure of the Ministry, such as the Department of Cinematography, the film studio "Kyrgyzfilm," the film center "Kyrgyztasmasi," and the state institution "Creative Production Association 'Kyrgyzserial'." Each of these institutions has between 10 to 12 employees, including accountants and security guards.

"We have plans for optimization: some institutions will be abolished, and their functions will be transferred to 'Kyrgyzfilm.' Work on this issue is almost complete," he added.
