In accordance with new changes in the legislation regarding cinema, a number of artistic norms will also be revised. One of the key innovations will be the mandatory addition of subtitles in the Kyrgyz language to foreign films. As Tagaev noted, this innovation may cause dissatisfaction among some distributors.
“We are actively working on preparing the necessary documents. These changes will be introduced soon, and of course, there may be discontent, but we hope for your support,” Tagaev added at the committee meeting.
