In 2025, Kyrgyzstan achieved significant growth in the budget for national cinematography, which increased threefold to 970 million soms. This information was announced at a meeting of the Committee on Science, Education, Innovative Development, Information Technologies, Culture, Sports, and Youth Affairs.

To understand the scale of the changes, it is worth noting that in 2024 the budget was only 345 million soms.

As part of the activities of the Cinematography Department in 2025, 4 films and one series were prepared. The film studio "Kyrgyzfilm" presented 48 films and 2 animated series. In addition, the State Institution "Creative Production Association 'Kyrgyzserial'" prepared 7 series.
