Minister on the War between Ukraine and Russia: Many citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic do not report, but participate and die
According to the minister, information about such participants comes from their relatives or close friends.
“We have a law that holds recruits accountable for participating in the conflict. Therefore, many do not report their involvement, even though they are there and even die. Relatives only say: 'He left at such and such a time, and nothing more is known,' and cannot provide a complete picture. If death is confirmed, we try to provide assistance through our embassy in Ukraine. However, many are afraid to share information. We have rough estimates, but exact data is lacking,” the minister emphasized.
