Xi Jinping will make a state visit to Kyrgyzstan

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev announced at a press conference in Bishkek on January 15 that a state visit by the Chairman of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, to Kyrgyzstan will take place in 2026.

He also noted that based on the results of 2025, cooperation between the countries can be rated at 11 out of 10.

Kulubaev reminded that in 2025, President Sadyr Japarov visited China, and meetings were held in Astana within the framework of the "Central Asia - China" format and at the SCO summit. According to him, 2026 will also be eventful, and an extensive program for the meeting with Xi Jinping is expected.

According to the minister, preparations for the visit have already begun.
