34,000 citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic are subject to deportation from Russia. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs believes this will be beneficial.
Kulubaev noted that Kyrgyz citizens were given additional time to prepare the necessary paperwork and register. "Our state and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs did everything possible, but some citizens are still in the registry and are subject to deportation. We cannot monitor every migrant, but the Russian side may reconsider its policy, as there is a shortage of labor," he said.
According to the Foreign Minister, the return of citizens to Kyrgyzstan will be beneficial, as large projects requiring labor are being implemented in the country. "There are as many opportunities here as in Russia, and there are plenty of vacancies," he added.
