Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Qatar dismissed for violating ethics

Marat Nuraliev, who held the position of Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Qatar, has been removed from office due to violations of the ethical standards established for public servants. This was reported by Jeenbek Kulubaev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, during a press conference in Bishkek, in response to questions from media representatives.

The Minister noted that, despite Nuraliev showing good results in his work, he failed to adhere to ethical standards.

“As a public servant, he is obliged to follow ethical norms. In this regard, we proposed his dismissal,” Kulubaev added.

The Minister also stated that the department will conduct checks among employees for compliance with established ethical standards.

Information about Marat Nuraliev's dismissal from the position of Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Qatar, to which he was appointed two years ago, emerged in late December 2025. The official reasons for his resignation were not disclosed; however, rumors began to circulate on social media about possible bigamy, which contradicts the country's legislation.
