The Housing Committee supported the president's objections to the amendments to the Criminal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code.
The amendments concerned both the Criminal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code. Timur Shabdanbekov, Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for National Security (SCNS), reported that the agency had its own proposals regarding this bill, which remain relevant.
In turn, Malik Bekturganov, Deputy Attorney General, noted that comments were made on Article 5 of the Criminal Procedure Code, which addresses the definition of the term "applicant" and related amendments.
"Specifically, Article 148 of the Criminal Procedure Code states that applications must be submitted to the Unified Register of Crimes. However, it is clarified that if the application does not meet the established requirements, the case may not be initiated," he explained.
Erkebek Ashirkhodzhaev, Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, emphasized that such provisions violate the principles of a full and comprehensive investigation.
