The deputy expressed the opinion that the training periods are too long

Dastan Bekeshev, a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, stated that young people from Kyrgyzstan may start moving to Kazakhstan or Uzbekistan to undergo training and obtain driver's licenses. He noted that the new training periods for categories B and C are 10 and 12 months respectively, which is too long.

According to him, many young people express dissatisfaction with the length of training. In other countries, this process takes only about three months. Bekeshev warned that if training in Kyrgyzstan lasts 10-12 months, it may lead to young people preferring to study abroad.

This statement was responded to by Tynychbek Saidov, the director of the State Center for Registration of Vehicles and Driver Personnel, who pointed out that the new standards were approved by the Ministry of Education.
