Bolot Ibragimov spoke out against extending driver training periods

He noted that such long training periods do not exist in other countries.

At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, deputy Bolot Ibragimov emphasized that the main problem on the roads lies in the corruption that has existed for many years.

“The problem is not the quality of training, but the fact that many bought driver's licenses without undergoing training. The responsibility for this lies with the state, not with the citizens who are going to be forced to study for 10 to 12 months,” Ibragimov stated.
He also expressed the opinion that this decision is erroneous and requires reconsideration.
