Ibragimov on the duration of training for category B and C licenses: There is nothing like this in any country in the world
Ibragimov expressed confusion regarding the reasons for establishing such timelines. His questions were answered by Tynchbek Saidov, the director of the State Center for Vehicle Registration and Driver Training, who explained that these measures were taken to ensure quality education for future drivers. However, he was unable to name other countries with similar timelines.
The deputy noted: "As far as I remember, no country has such long durations. The main cause of road incidents was corruption, which existed at a high level. Now we are forcing people to undergo training for 10 to 12 months. Previously, people simply bought driver's licenses, and this is a problem for the state, not for those we are now training. These timelines need to be reconsidered; they are completely incorrect," Ibragimov added.
