In the mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan and on the highways, avalanches and ice are expected until March 5.

From March 2 to 5, avalanches and ice are forecasted in the mountainous regions of Kyrgyzstan and on the highways due to adverse weather conditions.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, avalanche-prone areas and areas with ice are located on the following roads:

- Bishkek—Osh: 121-138 km (Töö-Ashuu Pass), 198-265 km (Chychkan Gorge, Ala-Bel Pass);

- Myrza-Ake—Kara-Kulja—Alakuu: 55-115 km;

- Ala-Buka—Kanysh-Kiya: 45-112 km (Chapchyma Pass);

- Krasnaya-Gorka—Ak-Tash: 0-3 km;

- Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart: 292-305 km (Dolon Pass);

- Balikchy—Kazar-man—Jalal-Abad: 201-205, 260-290, and 326-349 km;

- Karakol—Enilchek: 45-90 km (Chong-Ashuu Pass);

The Ministry of Emergency Situations urges drivers to maintain a distance of 500 meters between vehicles in hazardous areas of the roads.
