According to the investigation, the officers of the OM-2 of the Internal Affairs Department of the Lenin District used force against L.D.T., who was detained for petty hooliganism. The victim was taken to the National Hospital, where doctors diagnosed him with a closed traumatic brain injury, a closed spinal cord injury with fractures of the transverse processes of two vertebrae, as well as soft tissue bruises of the face and lower back.
On February 21, junior lieutenant of police R.u.M. was detained by GKNB and SVR Ministry of Internal Affairs officers and placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB pre-trial detention center.
