Sydyk worked in the 6th department of the State National Security Committee and became one of those who found themselves in the spotlight after recent changes in the leadership of the security forces.
Recall that on February 10, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, signed a decree dismissing Kamchybek Tashiev from the position of Deputy Prime Minister and head of the State National Security Committee.
In his place, Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov was appointed as the acting chairman.
Additionally, three deputy chairmen of the State National Security Committee were sent into retirement.
On February 14, there was also a change in the leadership of the Main Directorate of the State National Security Committee for Bishkek, where Ulan Biibosunov replaced Eldar Jakypbekov. The next day, Jakypbekov was detained.
Also on February 16, Salmoor Jumabekov was removed from the position of head of the Main Directorate of the State National Security Committee for Osh and the Osh region.
