On February 10, the president signed a decree relieving Tashiev of his duties.Also dismissed were:

New Appointments in the SCNS
The Acting Chairman of the SCNS is Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov.Rustam Mamasadikov became the First Deputy Chairman of the SCNS, having vacated the position of Secretary of the Security Council. As of February 11, this position had not yet been filled.
Alisher Erbaev was appointed Deputy Chairman and Director of the SCNS Anti-Terrorism Center. Uranbek Shadybekov became the Deputy and Director of the Cybersecurity Coordination Center.
Structural Changes in the SCNS
The Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic was removed from the SCNS. Recall that the border guards had been part of the SCNS since November 2020. Abdikarym Alimbaev was appointed Chairman of the State Border Service.A State Guard Service was also established under the President of Kyrgyzstan, formed on the basis of the 9th Service of the SCNS. Syrgak Berdikozhoev was appointed head of the new service.

Circumstances of Kamchybek Tashiev's Dismissal
At the time of writing, President Japarov had not commented on his decision; however, spokesperson Askhat Alagozov quoted his words."This decision was made in the interests of the state to avoid a split in society and to strengthen unity," Alagozov stated.
Later, the spokesperson added that "this concerns individuals such as Bekbolot Talgarkbekov and Emilbek Uzakbaev, who, under the guise of Tashiev's name, attempted to manipulate others, creating tension in society."
Request for Early Elections
Although it was not explicitly stated, the split likely refers to a request for "the immediate appointment of early presidential elections." The letter was signed by 75 individuals, whose names can be found here.On February 11, these individuals were summoned for questioning by the police, and three of them were detained. The police only provided the initials of the detainees, which match the names of Bekbolot Talgarkbekov, Emil Uzakbaev, and Kurmanbek Dykhanbaev.
Tashiev's Reaction to His Dismissal
Kamchybek Tashiev commented on his dismissal, stating: "I was undergoing an examination in Germany and was unexpectedly dismissed. I served our country and am proud of it, but I was not given the opportunity to say goodbye to my colleagues. To ensure peace and stability in the country, no one should act illegally," Tashiev said in his address.Additionally, Tashiev continues to hold the position of President of the Kyrgyz Football Union since 2024 and is the Vice President of the National Boxing Federation of Kyrgyzstan. He also heads the Board of Trustees of KRSU.
