Head of the State National Security Committee in Osh Salmoorbek Jumabekov removed from office - sources

According to sources from law enforcement agencies, Salmoorbek Jumabekov, who took the position of head of the State National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic (GKNB KR) for the city and region of Osh in December 2025, has been removed from this position.

It is worth noting that Salmoorbek is the son of the famous surgeon Sabyrbek Jumabekov.

At the moment, the reasons for his dismissal have not been officially announced, and it is unknown who will take his place.
