From Africa to the Middle East. The diplomatic map of Kyrgyzstan continues to expand.
In 2025, Kyrgyzstan significantly increased its diplomatic presence. The opening of the first embassy in Ethiopia was an important step in strengthening the country's position on the African continent.
At a press conference, Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev announced the decision to establish an embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Egypt, which will provide new strategic opportunities for the country in the Middle East and North Africa.
According to the head of the foreign affairs agency, in 2025 Kyrgyzstan established diplomatic relations with another 13 countries, resulting in the republic maintaining relations with 185 countries worldwide by the end of the year.
