This year, the installation of 60 kilometers of self-supporting insulated wires (SIP-2 and SIP-3) is planned in the Batken region. This initiative is aimed at modernizing the electrical networks, as reported by NES Kyrgyzstan.

The project is being implemented as part of the preparations for the autumn-winter season of 2026–2027 and will be carried out in stages from March to November. The main goal of the modernization is to update the infrastructure, reduce electricity losses, and improve the reliability of electricity supply, which is part of the reforms of the Ministry of Energy.

Of the total volume of work, 16.25 km will consist of new lines, while 43.75 km will be reconstructed by replacing old aluminum wires. The activities cover the districts of Suluktu, Leylek, Batken, Kadamjay, and Kyzyl-Kiy.

Detailed information about the repair works and their timelines will be posted on the official website of the Batken branch of OJSC "NES Kyrgyzstan," as well as on the organization's pages on social networks Facebook and Instagram. Additionally, updates on the progress of the work can be found through the mobile application "My Light." For consultations on electricity supply issues, a 24-hour call center is available at the number 105.
