In 2026, the construction and modernization of SIP-2 and SIP-3 electrical cables will be carried out in the Naryn region, with a total length of 66.36 km and a voltage of 10/0.4 kV. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.
The planned reconstruction and construction of new SIP cables will take place in the following districts:
* At-Bashinsky District — 14 km
* Ak-Talinsky District — 6.8 km
* Kochkor District — 14.5 km
* Jumgal District — 6.5 km
* Toguz-Toro District — 7.6 km
* Naryn District — 16.9 km
The financing of the work will be provided by the National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan OJSC, and the implementation of the project is scheduled from April to the end of October of this year in the Naryn region.
The use of SIP cables contributes to increasing the reliability of power grids. These cables are resistant to adverse weather conditions, help reduce electricity losses and the number of emergency outages, and also lower operating costs. Moreover, SIP cables make the use of electricity in populated areas safer and more stable.
The planned activities aim to prepare the Naryn Electric Enterprise for the autumn-winter period, improve the reliability of power grids, and ensure stable electricity supply for the population.
