In the Batken branch of OJSC "NES of Kyrgyzstan," a comprehensive repair of high-voltage overhead power lines operating at voltages of 220/110/35 kV will be carried out.
According to the approved plan for 2026, the following activities are scheduled:
• Major repairs of 20 km of overhead lines;
• Planned repairs will cover 1380 km of overhead lines.
These works are aimed at preparing for the winter season of 2026–2027 and will be conducted from March to November. Repair activities will take place in the Kadamjay, Leilek, and Batken districts of the Batken region.
Currently, planned work has begun on the 110 kV lines "Khoja-Bakirgan – Arka" and "Arka – Morskaya" in the Suluktin section, with a total length of 7 km. During this work, 190 old insulators will be replaced. At the same time, line fittings will be updated, and new equipment that meets modern technical standards will be installed.
The main objective of these activities is to ensure reliable and uninterrupted power supply for consumers, prevent emergency outages, reduce technological losses, and improve the condition of high-voltage overhead lines.
It is also worth noting that in 2025, as part of the high-voltage line service's work, a complete replacement of 7200 worn insulators on 220/110/35 kV lines was carried out, and 7513 new glass insulators were installed. As a result of the planned repairs, 1264.75 km of lines were covered, of which 134.6 km underwent major repairs.
