At the phytosanitary control post "Kyzyl-Kiya," which is managed by the Batken Department of Chemicalization, Plant Protection, and Quarantine of the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of Kyrgyzstan, the absence of necessary labeling on the packaging of 82,830 seedlings imported from Uzbekistan was identified.

According to the resolution of the Eurasian Economic Commission Council, adopted on November 30, 2016, under number 157, each package of quarantine products must contain information about the name, country of origin, exporter, and/or re-exporter.

The lack of labeling on the imported quarantine cargo is a violation of the general phytosanitary requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union, which led to the return of this batch of seedlings back to the importing country.
