The paid replacement of indefinite driver's licenses will cost Kyrgyz citizens 779 soms.

As of today, there are no clear deadlines established in Kyrgyzstan for the paid replacement of indefinite driver's licenses. This was reported by 24.kg citing the State Center for Registration of Vehicles and Drivers, which operates under the Presidential Administration.

It is important to note that from January 15 to February 15 of this year, citizens can exchange their old licenses for new samples free of charge.

“The exact number of issued indefinite licenses is unknown, as different numbers were issued in different years. Some citizens have already managed to replace their documents. We expect that the one-month duration of the campaign will allow us to serve all those who wish. Those who are unable to make the exchange during the specified period will be able to do so on a paid basis throughout 2026, although specific deadlines have not yet been determined,” the center clarified.

The cost of replacing a driver's license on a paid basis will be 779 soms, excluding the cost of the medical certificate form 083, which is 724 soms.

The center also added that other categories of citizens continue to be served in the standard manner without any changes.
