295 people with injuries due to icy conditions visited the emergency room in Bishkek
From January 1 to 19, 295 people sought help at the emergency room of the Sports Rehabilitation Center in Bishkek due to injuries resulting from snowfall and ice, as reported by the Ministry of Health. Among these cases, 227 were related to fractures, while 68 patients suffered from bruises and sprains. All individuals with fractures were given a plaster cast. Medical professionals emphasize that the main source of injuries remains falls on slippery sidewalks, stairs, and road crossings.
