"The procedure for assigning a PIN through the Cabinet of Ministers is already outlined in the law, - GU 'Kyzmat'"
This draft law was considered during the meeting of the same committee. Dosaliev noted that there are already procedures in the current legislation for changing the PIN through the Cabinet of Ministers.
He explained: "The proposed changes are due to the fact that the absence of an updated PIN code can complicate the lives of citizens, including access to medical care. The law clearly states the grounds for changing the PIN. For example, a request recently came from a transgender man who identifies as a woman. As long as the PIN remains unchanged, this person will not be able to perform necessary actions. Amending the law regarding gender characteristics would take significant time, while a Cabinet resolution allows for a quick response," he added, emphasizing that the grounds for changing the PIN are clearly defined and that deadlines are adhered to, which does not contradict the law.
