Avalanches may occur on the following sections of highways:
- from 121 to 138 km of the Bishkek—Osh road (Töö-Ashuu pass) and from 198 to 265 km (Ala-Bel pass, Chychkan gorge);
- from 45 to 112 km of the Ala-Buka—Kanysh-Kyya road (Chapchyma pass);
- from 0 to 3 km of the Krasnaya Gorka—Ak-Tash road;
- from 55 to 115 km of the Myrza-Ake—Kara-Kulja—Alaykuu road;
- from 97 to 98 km of the Sary-Tash—Daroot-Korgon—Karamyk road;
- from 292 to 305 km of the Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart road (Dolon pass);
- from 1 to 14 km of the Aral—Min-Kush road;
- from 8 to 21 km of the Aral—Suusamyr road;
- on sections 201-205, 260-290, and 326-249 km of the Balakchy—Kazarmin—Jalal-Abad road (Kok-Art pass);
- from 45 to 90 km of the Karakol—Enilchek road (Chong-Ashuu pass).
When traveling through areas prone to avalanches, drivers are advised to maintain a distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles.
