On February 17, the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek decided to place D.S.D., a former employee of the State National Security Committee (GKNB), known by the nickname "Pito," in custody.

As reported by the editorial office of "AKIpress Summary" on February 19, D.S.D. is accused of corruption under Article 336, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.

The court set the term of his detention in the pre-trial detention center (SIZO-1) until April 15.

Earlier, a video appeared on social media in Kyrgyzstan showing photographs of various individuals, including athletes, businessmen, GKNB employees, and police officers. These individuals were linked to an informal group known as "40 choro," led by Eldar Jakypbekov, the former head of the GKNB in Bishkek. The video also mentioned "Pito."

Some time later, a video was posted online showing the alleged detention of "Pito," but there were no official comments regarding this matter.

Later, the press service of the GKNB confirmed that there should be no untouchables in government agencies and announced the dismissal of several employees suspected of abusing their official powers.
