The Committee on Constitutional Legislation, State Structure, Local Self-Government, and the Regulations of the Jogorku Kenesh held a discussion and approved the draft law "On Amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic 'On the Regulations of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic'" in the first reading today, March 17.

Deputy Nurbek Sydygaliev is the initiator of this draft law.

According to him, the project provides for amendments to part 13 of article 53 of the law on the Regulations of the Jogorku Kenesh. "The draft law proposes to clarify the positions of all factions and deputy groups when considering the issue of adopting the draft law either simultaneously in the second and third readings or in three readings. This will help uphold the political rights of factions and deputy groups, as well as ensure transparency and balance in decision-making," noted Deputy Nurbek Sydygaliev.
