Due to the anticipated frosts, energy companies have intensified control over the power grids.

In connection with the expected cold weather, the Ministry of Energy has announced an increase in control over the condition of the power grids.
The agency noted that, taking into account the declared storm warning and adverse weather conditions, measures to monitor the operation of energy facilities are being strengthened throughout the country. Reserves for emergency repairs have also been prepared, and schemes for operational response to possible emergencies have been developed.
Repair crews, transport, and specialized equipment have been put on heightened alert. Continuous monitoring of the current situation is being carried out, and relevant services are operating according to approved schedules for round-the-clock duty.

The drop in temperatures is causing an increase in electricity consumption, which may lead to increased loads on the power grids.

In this regard, energy workers urge consumers to use resources wisely and avoid simultaneous use of multiple energy-intensive devices.
