In 2025, more than 150 kilometers of SIP cables were laid and reconstructed by the Chui Electric Networks Enterprise.
As part of these activities in the Chui region, 7.52 km of 35/10 kV overhead power lines and 15.75 km of 10 kV overhead lines were installed using SIP-3, and 146.24 km of 10 kV lines were converted to SIP-2.
Among them:
- Alamudun District – 31.2 km;
- Kemin District – 6.2 km;
- Moscow District – 13.7 km;
- Jail District – 23.34 km;
- Sokuluk District – 32.6 km;
- Chui District – 7.5 km;
- Issyk-Ata District – 16.5 km;
- Panfilov District – 15.2 km.
SIP cables have high resistance to adverse external conditions, including natural phenomena that can negatively affect overhead power lines.
They withstand temperature fluctuations, ice formation, precipitation, and strong winds well. In hurricane and storm conditions, traditional aluminum wires can break due to excessive mechanical loads, while SIP demonstrates reliability even in challenging conditions, which is a significant advantage.
These works are aimed at providing consumers with stable electricity supply during the autumn-winter period and reducing the likelihood of emergency situations.
