In 2026, the Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan plans to carry out work on the installation and modernization of over 119.34 km of SIP cable in the Chui region.

These works are scheduled from March to November and are aimed at preparing for the autumn-winter season of 2026–2027.

Division of work by districts:

▪️ Alamudun District — 20.45 km;

▪️ Kemin District — 6.840 km;

▪️ Moscow District — 11.100 km;

▪️ Jayil District — 9.429 km;

▪️ Sokuluk District — 33.583 km;

▪️ Chui District — 15.899 km;

▪️ Issyk-Ata District — 5.68 km;

▪️ Panfilov District — 8 km.

The SIP cable used in these works has advantages due to its insulated wires, which are less prone to snow accumulation and ice formation. This significantly increases the reliability of electrical networks and helps avoid short circuits in strong winds. The cable also has resistance to various adverse natural conditions.

The main goal of these activities is to ensure stable electricity supply for consumers during the autumn-winter period and to prevent possible accidents.
