In 2025, "Kyrgyzstan UET" JSC implemented a project to install 645 transformers and increase their capacity on 10/0.4 kV lines.
This initiative was undertaken in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic, aimed at developing the energy sector, as well as preparing for the winter season of 2025-2026 and fulfilling the set reforms.
As part of this program, "Kyrgyzstan National Electric Network" JSC installed 279 new transformers and increased the capacity of 366 existing ones. The work was carried out in the following regions:
• Bishkek — 69 transformers;
• Batken — 95 transformers;
• Jalal-Abad — 113 transformers;
• Issyk-Kul — 61 transformers;
• Naryn — 77 transformers;
• Osh — 117 transformers;
• Talas — 36 transformers;
• Chui — 77 transformers.
These actions are aimed at updating the infrastructure, which will allow for a quality preparation for the autumn-winter period, reduce the load on the energy system, and improve the quality of electricity supply.

JSC "National Electric Network of Kyrgyzstan" installed 279 transformers and increased the capacity of 366 transformers in 2025. This was reported by the company's press service.
The work on the installation and capacity increase of 10/0.4 kV transformers at electric grid enterprises was carried out in the following volumes:
- Bishkek Electric Network Enterprise — 69 units;
- Batken Electric Network Enterprise — 95 units;
- Jalal-Abad Electric Network Enterprise — 113 units;
- Issyk-Kul Electric Network Enterprise — 61 units;
- Naryn Electric Network Enterprise — 77 units;
- Osh Electric Network Enterprise — 117 units;
- Talas Electric Network Enterprise — 36 units;
- Chui Electric Network Enterprise — 77 units.
These works are aimed at updating the equipment, successfully passing the autumn-winter period, reducing the load on the energy system, and improving the quality of electricity supply, explained in "NESC".
