Deputy Criticizes the Level of Digitalization of Public Services in Kyrgyzstan
She raised a question about the current state of the digitalization process of public services.
In response, she was informed that the level of internet coverage in the country is 90%.
However, Abdibaeva noted that even residents of the capital, Bishkek, face difficulties accessing electronic public services and are forced to wait for hours in lines at government institutions.
"If the situation in the capital looks this way, then it is undoubtedly much worse in the regions," the deputy added.
She also pointed out the discrepancy between official data on internet accessibility and the actual capabilities of the population to obtain digital services.
The draft law proposes changes to the organization of the provision of state and municipal services, including the simplification of procedures and an increase in the share of electronic formats.
