The Government of Mongolia will update the National E-Services Registry next month
By next month, a detailed list of government electronic services, grouped by categories, is planned to be compiled.
Currently, the Registry, managed by the Department for Regulation of Government Electronic Services, includes 785 different services provided by 56 government agencies. The process of digitizing services required updating the registry, which is related to several factors, such as digitized services that are not included in the current list, as well as services that are planned for digitization, and changes in names, types, and those responsible for processing them in the context of current legislation.
The goal of updating the registry is to improve interaction between government agencies, eliminate duplication and inconsistencies in data, as well as enhance the accessibility and efficiency of government services for individuals and legal entities, as reported by the government press service.
Currently, 451 services from 43 government organizations are available through 482 "HURDAN" kiosks, of which 120 are located in Ulaanbaatar and 362 in rural areas. In addition, the Department for Regulation of Government Electronic Services manages 596 service points "HURDAN" both within the country and abroad, including 144 in the capital, 405 in rural areas, and 47 in 31 foreign countries.
